The facility will, on request, provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which complies with EN standards. However the facility does not provide training boots.
- Firefighter helmets used for training comply with the latest EN 443:2008 standard. This standard is also the minimum requirement for firefighting operational use in Germany.
- Firefighter gloves used for training comply with the latest EN 659:2003 + A1:2008 standard. This standard is also the minimum requirement for firefighting operational use in Germany.
- Firefighter suits (tunic & leggings) used for training comply with the latest EN 469:2005/ A1:2006 standard. This standard is also the minimum requirement for firefighting operational use in Germany.
- Firefighter flash hoods used for training comply with the latest EN 13911:2004 standard. This standard is also the minimum requirement for firefighting operational use in Germany.
